The Chair of the Revision Committee (the Rt Revd Christopher
Cocksworth, Bishop of Coventry) moved:
'That the Synod do take note of this Report.'
Following debate, the motion was carried. The business now
stands committed to the House of Bishops.

Queen's and Prince of Wales's Consent to be
signified.
As the Draft Measure as revised at the Revision Committee stage
affects the prerogatives and interests of Her Majesty and of the
Prince of Wales, their consents had been applied for and were
signified by the Bishop of London, the Rt Rev Richard Chartres,
before the Final Drafting Stage commenced.
Geoffrey Tattersall (Manchester and a member of the Steering
